METALLICA Conquer Swedish Album Chart

June 16, 2004

METALLICA's Swedish gig in Gothenburg on May 30 May fired up renewed fervor for the band's back catalogue where a subsequent reissue campaign has seen no less than ten albums all propelling themselves back into the national album charts:

09. Metallica
14. Master of Puppets
20. ...And Justice For All
23. Ride the Lightning
28. Kill 'em All
31. St. Anger
47. Load
48. Reload
54. S&M
60. Garage Inc.

Not only did METALLICA occupy a full sixth of the chart but they broke their own records too with "Kill 'em All" and "Master Of Puppets" all re-entering higher than their original chart placing. "Kill 'em All" did not chart originally while "Master of Puppets" made it to No. 17 in 1986.
